At only R489 the Foxconn H61MXL falls in the value segment of the socket 1155 motherboard market. Built on the Intel H61 chipset, it does support both the 2nd and 3rd generation of Intel Core processors, the i3, i5 and i7.
The H61MXL takes up to 16GB of RAM on the dual DDR3 channels, supporting up to 1333Mhz memory transfer rate. The board also supports 16 PCI Express 2.0/3.0 lanes. At 5GB per second, PCIE generation 3.0 delivers double the signal rate of generation 2.0 while, at the same time, minimizing skew and crosstalk.
From the motherboard image you’ll note that graphics is integrated, driven by the Intel HD Graphics technology in the Core processors. That gives enough graphics power to support Directx 11 and Intel Quick Sync Video technology to create, edit and accelerate video processes.
