The Antec One S3 mid-tower gaming case shares a lot of the features found in the famous Antec Lanboy and Dark Fleet gaming speciality cases. Firstly, there is the bottom-mounted PSU intake with an air filter, a feature that is most welcome in a dry, dusty country such as South Africa.
Also most welcome is the ample cooling provided in the case design. Out of the box, the Antec One S3 comes with one 120mm top exhaust fan and one 120mm rear exhaust fan. Then there are additional spaces for fans on the side, the front and at the bottom.Â
As with the big Antec cases, the Antec One S3 is tool-less, allowing you quick and easy access to the 5.25″ and 3.5″ drive bays. Swapping drives takes a minute or two once the case is open.
On the specifications mentioned below you’ll see that the Antec One S3 has no less than 10 drive bays and 7 expansion slots – and not forgetting the 2 x USB3.0 front ports.
Award-winning
The Antec One is an award-winning gaming case that has received top marks in reviews. Geek-Cube has this to say:
“Antec have clearly succeeded with this case. What they have done is produce a high quality, feature-packed, budget case that is sure to attract those first time builders and seasonal system integrators on a budget – and they sure are in for a treat.”
HiTechLegion’s reviewer, Eric Stemplewski, concluded:
“The features that come with it are excellent, as well. I would recommend the Antec One to anyone that wants a solid case at a reasonable price.”
