Backup batteries

Batteries are either regular batteries or deep cycle batteries. Regular batteries – such as car batteries – produce a shorter burst of electricity, for instance, to start your car. Deep cycle batteries produce ongoing, lower yet consistent, levels of power to run things like lights, TV, computer, etc.

In other words, your emergency backup power system needs deep cycle batteries.

Batteries are available as lead acid batteries, AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat), gel batteries or lithium-ion batteries. The Mecer systems we are offering here have lithium-ion batteries. In short, lithium-ion batteries charge quicker than others and last 3 to 4 times longer.

Both the Mecer 1KW SOL-I-BB-M1L and 2KW SOL-I-BB-M2L systems offer the following features:
